Motorbike Camping
I got on my BMW K75, called a couple of friends and set off for Oak Grove Campgrounds. I've been coming back to this campground since my first Spokesmen outing. I'm doing my part to keep these campsites open since lack of use will close them. So, when is the next Spokesmen Summer Campout? :)

Folks, sorry to to say but Indian Flats has closed. I was up there last weekend to scope it out. There is a new white metal barricade by the huge boulder by the entrance to the campground. Too bad I didn't get to experience camping at Indian Flats. I have been going back to Oak Grove, 3 times last year. Ranger Jim isn't there anymore (at least his trailer isn't there). My friends and I will be there again this weekend. So, when is the Spokemen Summer Campout? :)

Rex, once again I am a late arriver on Spokesmen things going on. What a great presentation, and possibly this will motivate the Indian Flats campout on 8/21.

Thanks guys. I remember Ranger Jim from Oak Grove saying he also manages another campground nearby. It is Indian Flats. I'll look into that. Thanks for the tip! Keep the motorbike wilderness camping alive, indeed!

Keep the Oak Grove spirit alive. Another Forest Service camp in the area is Indian Flats in the Cleveland National Forest and is nearest to Warner Springs.
