Guzzi wanted some of the small wheel scooter market so they started building some. Lambretta responded with the bike you saw. Guzzi didn't start building their V's until the 60's. Lambretta told Guzzi if they continued to build small wheel scooters, then Lambretta would build big wheel scooters. Guzzi chickened out and the rest is history. The bike in the pic is in a museum somewhere. I don't remember where, maybe England? Or Italy?

How are you riding these days? Have you been meeting up the other dudes? I stopped by Velo Cult the other sunday but got there too late to see any of the guys. I just forwarded the spokemen link to a buddy of mine that has a cafe honda 360. His name is Matt Lopman. Maybe you'll see him around.
