Del Mar motorcycle concours returns for 2011.Its a 2-day event with Saturday devoted to motorcycles, Sunday for cars. This event will show the best of the best. Show 'em if ya got 'em, otherwise rub elbows with the folks that do.Reportedly, Bobby Hill and Dick Klamfoth will be featured as Grand Marshalls. Rumors exist that Bill Tuman may appear also. Naval Aviation Birthday

Saturday was the big flyover for the Navy's celebration of 100 years of aviation here in San Diego, born here pre-WW1. They flew representative examples of every navy aircraft since 1912...imagine the Wright brothers with a pontoon water landing.Largest flyover since WW2.Entry traffic was dense with I-5 backing up into downtown causing a few our group to peel off and abandon entering NAS North Island. I passed at least a quarter mile of cars, slipped into the line and lane split all the way…See More

Sad event

Bob Jensen, a member of both SDAMC and the Perros Viejos, was killed yesterday morning at 7AM when his bike hit the center divider on 5 South/Clairemont Drive in a single vehicle incident. CHP witnesses said the bike/rider suddenly swerved across 4 lanes before contacting the divider. Bob was alive until he was transported to the hospital where he passed away.Bob was a great breakfast buddy, loved puns, and told the worst jokes. Hwy, Joe- 

No vodka, either, uphere in this frozen hellscape- less than-LESS than 1/2 pint is over seven bucks. 

The Canucks are nice enough, if a little too quick to resort to cannibalism.

there should e a lot of nice biking- this is glacal moraine country, and wre just 20 minutes from farm country. 

Big bike show next week. Big garage....but its friggin freezing in there....
