Event Description

A few of us are going to ride to Bashford's on the Friday before the Slab City Riot.

Bashford's Hot Mineral Spa is 18 miles north of Slab City. You can get there by going North on the 111 and turning onto Hot Mineral Spa Road or you can take the Coachella Canal Road which is a dirt road that runs along side the canal.

Unlike Slab City, Bashford's has 6 hot tubs, a full size swimming pool, comfy bathrooms, and showers. All are fed by naturally hot mineral water that comes up from the ground.

Camping is $10 per night and is near a covered patio with picnic tables.

Potential meetup at The Lazy Lizard in Ocotillo to ride the rest of the way there together.

There is a small contingent leaving from my house in La Mesa and with a full tank of gas it takes 1 hour on hwy 8 to get there. Please let me know if you'd like to join the ride or we'll just see you there.
